I made this sewing machine cover with a 60's screen printed place mat that I found at the Oppy, there was only one of them, but I had to have it - after the classic 'what are you going to do with that?' convo, I finally worked it out - so here is what I've done with it. the print is signed 'Coq Dor' so no guesses what I'm going to call my sewing machine cover!

Oh I love that - great use of an oppy find - I can't remember if I posted you a message Claire, but my blog has had a revamp and new name - it's now 'sew mad' instead of 'thirties green' if you are still interested in my ramblings. Cheers Dona
That is the coolest sewing machine cover I have EVER seen.
What a great sewing machine cover! If didn't already have one, I would've wanted to make one based on yours...and I see you've put the binding to good use, too. :-)
Great - I need one of those. Would never have thought of it. Well done.
