A morning to shop, unencumbered, and finally some vintage fabric at the Op Shop. I was beginning to formulate a conspiracy theory revolving around one of the sorters stashing all the 60's fabric for her daughter to make library bags out of!
Any way, paranoid theories aside, I felt very lucky carrying my stash home, thinking of all the possibilities, skirts, dresses, pinis, going home to do nothing but sew for the rest of the day - so I'm home now...and nowhere near the sewing machine, and looking at my very messy house. House-work is not my favourite OR my best, anyway I'll get on to it, and knock it on the head in no time, just as soon as I've had a look at the crossword!

Sounds similar, lol! I'm just watching trashy tv and blogging, when I could be sewing....or doing some housework. :-)
Some great finds there!
This fabric could definitely be my favourite and my best (dear Lola!). The solution to getting the best fabric is for us all to volunteer at our best op-shops. Then we'd definitely get first dibs.
(Hey Jade, just saw your comment over at claireswimming. I'm not stalking you, truly!)

Oh Wowsers! What a haul! Lucky you.
The drought has broken
You must have been skipping home with that lot! Wahoo! Unfortunately I have been attending to household duties and not doing much sewing over the past week. At least the house is clean!
That fabric is amazing-----I dont think ive ever found so many treasures in one hit...you must have been smiling all day!!! I especially love that hot pink floral at the back!! Beautiful!
Great fabric - but your theories are correct. I have visions of women in the backrooms of vinnies around Australia ratting through bags and taking the best!!
I totally agree with your conspiracy theory, and am always eyeing off the op shop ladies wondering which one has taken all the good stuff.
Great fabric finds there.
