When Macrame Attacks

Saw this grotesque macrame balaclava at Rozelle Markets today! For Shula.

A Parker drawing, this is her on the left,

(she lusts after red hair, due to her Atomic Betty thing).

She tells me this is her buddy, at big school, and this is all the stuff she's going to learn at school in her head!

And, a lovely day with Zoe from RivetKitty (and 'Mouse-Pocket') yesterday, spent vintage fabric shopping and catching up, it's been a while, there's been a move to Newcastle, and a new baby for Zoe since we last hooked up! I had a great day Zoe, and we must to it again, sooner rather than later!

Macrame is always scary, but particularly in that application!
I absolutely love how open to learning your daughter is, what an exciting journey she is about to embark on.

Hello!
Oh I love the painting!!
Seeing into childrens thoughts are so fascinating. You can tell she's creative, I love that she drew something that you can't physically see, the stuff she's going to learn.
So interesting.

And oh how I laughed at that balaclava! How much were they asking? I wonder if it will ever sell!

that is such a great picture. My pirate has red curly hair and desperately wants it to be straight and blond like his best friend. he is starting school too!

and that mask is very sinister, but wonderful.
