Vintage Christmas Cards

Found these cards at the Oppy today, 3 for $1.00.
The colours are so vibrant, and the illustrations bring back lots of memories, I remember giving cards like these to school friends in the late 70's.
I'm getting into the Christmas vibe now that the little one has had her birthday.
I haven't quite made the same commitment to handmade as I did last year,
but doing my best to avoid the nasty, sweat shop made.
I've lots to make still, pencil rolls, aprons yadda, yadda. Photos as soon as it stops raining.

Oh yes .... love the colours. And they remind me of the cards I used to give and receive at school. The most special ones had glitter on them!

Good luck with your present-making; I'm planning to get stuck into all that from tomorrow :-)

great cards...they make me feel nostalgic too. I think that's what I like about Christmas time the most - a chance to remember and reflect.

Tam over at YakkityYakYak sent me over to see your blog, it is great, I like the vintage cards! They remind me that I have a couple of vintage lawn decorations to put out before Xmas....

I love them. They feel like they're straight from childhood (mine, everyone elses). Ok, going to keep an eye out and see if there's any like this in my oppy this week. As well as the rad styles of illustrations, the colors are spectacular.

Hi, have made up a game and tagged you, hope you'll play so I know I'm not alone, but understand with the silly season if you can't. Merry Xmas and all that!

These cards are great! I love the colours, especially that hot pink and magenta make numerous appearances!
