Birthday Dress

It hasn't photographed all that well, but here's Parker's Birthday dress, being modeled by the ever compliant plastic thing, the only thing in the house that does what I ask! She'll be wearing it on Friday, so I'll be able to get some shots of how it looks on. A halter dress made from the sweetest, softest, vintage dressmaking cotton!

Gorgeous fabric. Haven't made mine one, as she is getting some new handmade outfits from grandma. We've had lots of excitment counting down the sleeps, plus a few tears and "i never want to grow up"! Have to say i'm a bit excited too! And love the comment re sewing machine 'feet', mine's funny word is 'underpants'!

Very pretty! And I'm envious of the good-looking fabric stash behind the plastic thing too :-)
