Bought some fresh, organic, rhubarb, to officially say bye to winter.
Will stew this with sugar, then have it with custard after dinner.
Made a twirly, summery, skirt for Little P, with fabric found on Monday.
Found an original Kartell table at the Oppy, my heart skipped a beat as I turned it upside down, and saw the Kartell mark! Then I looked at the price tag $5 - for a Kartell,
with legs what swivel like?!
P and I carried this off to the car!!
Needs a big clean up, then it'll live in P's bedroom.

Lucky Thusdayish - The stuff people dont want and give away - makes me scratch my head.Good score for you but.
Very nice.
What time can I pop over for rhubarb and custard? Yum!
I've been making the BEST rhubarb, quince and apple crumbles as my last hurrah for winter. So yummy.
Rhubarb. Yum. I end up putting it in a vase so I can just look at it. It's a great colour. The secret with the banana cake, our household reckons, is the Mixmaster. I have an old Sunbeam Mixmaster and it's a gem of a beast. We've been making this cake for years, with a hand held mixer and switched to the Mixmaster when I bought it from a Salvos for $35 earlier this year. (It's on the blog somewhere). All cakes have seriously been better ever since. I kid you not.
S-C-O-R-E !
Wow - that table is a mega good find, no wonder your heart skipped a beat!

Thanks for your comments about prem bubs, being a mum of one etc, was nice to hear your story. I think the idea of being a groovy mum o' one is really growing on me. Might mean more time to make special skirts and the like for the little lady.
