A fabric fanciers dream come true, and just as I was loosing faith in my Op Shop! It's had a renovation, and the prices have gone up, fabric has been thin on the ground, and then I found this! It's printed on both sides, and is a heavy cotton/canvas, my favourite panel is the little girl with her dog feeding the chickens. It fits perfectly across Little P's door, but that involves big D getting the drill out!

Oh, you've renewed my faith, maybe I should check out my local thrift shop despite the same problems. Embroidered handkerchiefs/dresser scarfs where the last remaining good deal, after everything else shot up, when I can get better prices at antique stores, the thrift shop prices have gone crazy in my opinion.
What an amazing find at the oppy!
It's absolutely beautiful...
that is just breathtaking - what a fantastic find....and just after you said you prefer curtains to blinds!! lucky you :)
so cute. You are so lucky. I never find anything that good. Hope it goes up okay.
Thanks for your comment on my blog. Yes, a lot of it was hard to access. But if you want to go somewhere really fun (other than your op shop) go to Annandale galleries and see William Kentridge. Take your daughter. She will love it too.
Oh,it's divine!
I adore kitschy kid's stuff!
Don't get me started the lady at our local, wanted to charge me $20 for a small handful of buttons!
around $1 each ,she said....

What a great find, I would love some of these to put in a quilt- as squares or as a long strip. Good finds are worth all the days of nothing, I think.
That is a fantastic find.. Gosh, my faith in my local oppy is dwindling, maybe the luck is turning! Great find!
