Op Shop Plunder

And so with the memory of the horrendous move fading, I am finally able to put things on the counter at the oppy again.

I am just in love with these melamine utensils, the fabric is I'm not really in love with, but can never pass up the vintage stuff. The blue and white is 50's and feels like a really heavy silk, eff knows what I'll do with it, it's the pick of the bunch today.

I really do feel like a pirate when I go hunting for treasure in the oppy!

Made in Japan, for mushrooms?

A reminder of what is yet to be put away.

I found this Scandinavian type print at the Oppy pre-move, it's been made into curtains, I really love it, the whimsy of the girls dancing and the little birds will do it for me every time. I've put the lid on this stash for the time being, I get panicky that I'll forget all about it, and then find it again once my fickle taste has changed!

Isn't it weird how other people's fabric piles always look more exciting than your own?

I have this overwhelming urge to rummage through that big plastic box, despite the fact that I have a massive IKEA shelf bursting to the seams with fabric I don't use enough of. Gah!

Love the oppy finds - you are a member of Thrifted Tuesday, aren't you?
