Box Brownie = fun!

Big D bought some film, and a light meter for his camera, which is at least 40 years old, and the result is the best colour photos, even the colour of Little P's lips is spot on. You just can't get colour like this with a digital camera. It even picked up the paint spot on the dress I made her, with vintage cotton!

Stay tuned for more fun with the camera, as we plan escapades around Sydney.
We are going to the old Gladesville Psychiatric Hospital grounds on the weekend, amazing grounds, which I'm sure will be redeveloped into ugly units soon.

Film photos are sooo much better, colourwise. To me they're also somewhat sharper, clearer.
But, ooh, digital = instant gratification.

I have no real experience with old camera's - aside from the film of my first day at school that mum forgot to develop and the photos came out pink............but I love that dress, why can't I find material that alive at the oppy????
