Happy New You (as P likes to say)

Christmas all done and dusted, New Year seen in and Little P has a new found respect for the man in red, he delivered: A talking Lola doll, squeeze her hands and she ooozes cuteness - not really hand made, but bought in a small shop, and not made in a sweat shop - so I bent the rules there. The hand made Christmas was great, it all seemed a bit more heart felt some how. Should be easier next year with more preparation. Oh and I got a Merrameko bag and a "poketo" T shirt from Robio

A new year, a new routine, Little P is going to pre-school 3 days a week this year, so I want (no need) to make her some little dresses that cover her shoulders, but still look Summery, here is the sample, this one is just made with a cotton print that was on spesh at Spotlight, no point getting paint all over the ritzy stuff! Think I'll make the V at the front slightly longer and maybe do some contrasting tiers for the others. I'll have a little bit of extra time for making stuff this year, in theory that's how it goes in my head any way! Will see .....

Happy New Year to you too.

Glad everything went well. I wish I could use all the extra time that I was going to have when the last one went to school!!!

I hope you can achieve something in all the extra time - sounds good anyway.

The cuteness. And that doll looks pretty special too. Yes, there is paint all over my kinderboy's clothes and it stains, so true.
Happy New Year to you!

Oh I want that talking Lola doll *pout pout* Maybe if I am very good santa will bring it next year.

We have the shoulders covered rule at kinder as well/ At least it is a good excuse to get sewing.
