Why do I look so excited?
a) Because I just LOVE moving house? (look at those boxes and all that clutter that has invaded my sewing space!!) so many more boxes to fill!
b) I am so patriotic, that Australia Day has me singing 'God Save the Queen' all day?
c) Kevin Rudd wants to say 'sorry' to The Stolen Generation?
or............
d) I am about to pick up my FIRST ever car?

It's taken me a really, bloody long time, but finally a car of my own ..... I can't help feeling this photo really should have been taken 22 years ago - but better late than never. I'm very excited about my VW Polo - and it's great to drive, although Big D just sits very quietly next to me, looking terrified, knuckles turning white on the dash board!

A new car is totally exciting. I was the same as you, made my partner take multiple photos of me with my 'new' car. And may I say you have a very snazzy looking set of wheels there. Drive safely.
