Twas a dark, and rainy day

We decided to give our Chiswell chairs a long over due make over
These chairs are older than me! Remnants of the original, avocado coloured vinyl.
The tools of the trade.
The end result, much better.
We got these chairs from Big D's Nan.
They were covered in a rather drab, cream brocade.
This is their 3rd makeover, which would mean
that I must be due for a makeover too right?

Oooo, lovely! We have similar chairs (but the back rest is covered). Such a great shape.

Great job, Claire! And so much more environmentally responsible than popping down to some cheapo imported furniture place and buying new chairs. I salute you! Andi.

Love it! I have two from my Mum's that are almost identical with black vinyl on the seat and back rest that I have plans for...you've inspired me to get on with it.

They look fantastic. I have 60's chairs that need a makeover but I've never been game enough. Perhaps it's time to take the leap.
